This video shows you how to install Vigor ACS2 in Linux CentOS 7.6 operating system using Azure Cloud as the infrastructure server.

The steps involve creating a virtual Machine in the Azzure cloud and then installing VigorACS 2 into the Virtual Machine.

VigorACS 2 version 2.5.0 is now available.

Use Firewall in User-Based mode with a RADIUS server

This application note shows how to use User Management with RADIUS server and set different policies for different user accounts. With this configuration, LAN clients are required to log in with their user account for Internet access. The administrator can set different rules for different user accounts. For example, we can create a rule to prohibit Facebook from most employees; On the other hand, the user with HR accounts can access the Internet without any limitations.

IPsec Xauth from Windows to Vigor Router

IPsec tunnel with Xauth requires not only pre-shared key but also username and password for authentication when VPN client creates the tunnel, it can enhance the security of IPsec tunnel. This article demonstrates how to create an IPsec tunnel with Xauth between Vigor Router and Windows.

ONVIF Surveillance Introduction

ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) is the communication standard between IP-based physical security products. Supporting ONVIF is a trend in security products, such as a webcam connected to a network video recorder, a webcam connected to the monitoring software, and an access control system.

The VigorSwitch also supports monitoring ONVIF monitoring is now available in VigorSwitch’s running firmware version 2.5.0. In addition to managing and configuring the IP cam, administrators can view video streams directly from the WebUI of the VigorSwitch. This application note covers same examples.

Overview of DrayTek Vigor2862 Series Routers

Networking with Wi-Fi Mesh Technology

Wi-Fi Mesh Technology is a new feature introduced into DrayTek access points to easily set up a Wi-Fi Mesh network. Installation is simplified by the use of the configuration menu. In addition, Wi-Fi Meshing provides resiliency as well as centralized management of the Wi-Fi network. Wi-Fi Meshing is currently supported in VigorAP903, VigorAP920R and VigorAP1000C.

This video shows how to configure the Wi-Wi-Mesh by using the quick start wizard in the VigorAP 903 access point and also by using the wireless apps for Android and Apple devices.

Overview of Draytek Vigor2620L And VigorLTE 200 Series

The Vigor2620 series is a VDSL2/ADSL2+ modem router with embedded dual SIM card slots supporting speeds up to 150Mbps downstream and 50Mbps upstream for 4G/LTE failover, and a configurable LAN/WAN port. While the VigorLTE 200 series has just the configurable LAN/WAN port. Both series are equipped with 2x Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports.

Supported SIM cards include those from the major broadband service providers in Australia such as Telstra, Optus and Vodafone, as well as those in New Zealand including Spark, 2Degrees and Vodafone.

The Vigor2620 series and VigorLTE 200 series are versatile routers for a business network of around 30 devices. They can have two concurrent VPN tunnels to link to the main offices or provide remote access for Network Admins. They also offer flexibility for network management including Port Forwarding, SPI Firewall, Content Filtering, Bandwidth Management, QoS and more.
