What is firmware backup and recovery

This article provides information on a new feature introduced in firmware 3.9.0 which is “Firmware Backup”. The router saves a copy of the old firmware in flash memory whenever an upgrade is performed, and restores it after 3 abnormal software reboots since power on.

Vigor Router to NordVPN server - IKEv2 EAP

NordVPN server is a famous cloud VPN server which supports VPN protocols, such as PPTP, L2TP over IPsec, OpenVPN and IKEv2. DrayTek's PPTP and L2TP/IPsec VPN has been listed in NordVPN's compatible list. This is now supported in firmware version 3.9.0.  This application note shows how to configure the Vigor router to use NordVPN.

How to use ACL on switch?

Vigor Router supports built-in Hotspot features, which makes them suitable an Internet access in a public area. When customers connect to the router, the router can redirect them to a captive portal for authentication or policy agreement, and show the customer a landing page or bulletin message where the hotspot provider can promote themselves.
